In episode 10 Eric and Liz have a heart-to-heart on the ride home. She reassures him that she's not trying to control him and only wants the best for him. Their bond is strengthened after the chat.

Seven hours later, Helen wakes up in bed with several injuries. She hears someone banging on the door and tries to answer it. But before she can, she passes out again. What happened after the rest of the group left last night?

When a group of misfits come together and find they share a similar pain, they decide to combine their strengths. Using cutting edge technology, they set out to rebuild the status quo and create a new world accepting of everyone. Or at least that's what they hoped.
