In episode 22, Eric forgets to give Helen’s bag back. When he goes to return it without knocking, she’s in the middle of undressing. Eric gets embarrassed and apologizes repeatedly. Helen reassures him she knows he didn’t mean it and heads off to take her shower. After giving him a slightly hard time, Luca leaves to shower too. When he returns, Helen is already dressed and listening to Eric talk about crypto. The two old friends get into an argument about the most important thing for her to learn, and she tries to break it up. Will they be able to settle their differences?

In episode 21, Eric brings Helen to her new home, Luca's boat. She's amazed by Galapagos' size and starts envisioning what life would be like living on board. In her excitement to tour the interior, she accidentally falls into the water, dragging Luca with her. After they dry off a little, he gives her a tour, and she becomes overwhelmed by his kindness and generosity. Luca gives her some honest advice, and she cheers up and starts to see the brighter side of her circumstances.

In episode 20, after some convincing from Eric, Helen agrees to stay with Luca. While she changes out of her hospital gown, she thinks about her new misfortune and wonders how she will ever get back on her feet. Before leaving her room, she writes a letter to her favorite nurse, Inama, thanking her for being so helpful. As Helen and her friends head for the exit, she hugs Inama and asks her to look out for Jonas.

In episode 19, Eric and Luca find out Helen is getting released from the hospital, so they rush over to pick her up. As they arrive, Robbie is dropping off some of her spare clothes. Eric nearly knocks him over as he delivers the bad news to Helen that she got evicted. She starts to panic, and he explains his plan for her to stay with Luca temporarily. Will she go for it?

In episode 18, we find out that the woman who yelled at Helen is Jonas’s mother. Helen tries to explain that she wasn’t one of the friends who abandoned him, but his mother doesn’t want to hear what she has to say. She shouts at Helen and tells her to leave, throwing Jonas’s mask at her on her way out. Helen mopes back to her room, feeling discouraged as Jonas’s mother yells at the nurse. After things calm down, Inama tries to cheer Helen up by telling her to see it from his mother’s point of view. Will Helen be able to take her advice?

In episode 17, Eric asks Luca to take care of Helen’s rabbit. Luca reluctantly agrees but eventually warms up to the little critter. Back at the hospital, Helen finally gets to check in on Jonas. He’s in worse condition than she feared, and she starts to get emotional as she talks to his unconscious body. Before she can finish her heart-to-heart, a woman bursts into the room, accusing Helen of corrupting him. Who is this abrasive woman?

In episode 16, we find out how the mission ended. Jonas’ friends abandon him and Helen, and they must figure out how to escape the burning lab. Helen notices all the animals trapped inside and wants to save them. Jonas tells her they don’t have time because first responders are on the way. He has a change of heart as they’re leaving and goes back to save the helpless creatures. Helen gets teary-eyed as she recounts the tale. Worried about Jonas, she asks one of the nurses what happened to him. Did he survive?

In episode 15, Helen, Jonas, and his friends break the barbed wire on the fence to the lab. Then Jonas disables the security system. Once everyone is inside, the group starts releasing the animals. When one of Helen’s critters starts playing with her, Joe offers to help her get it under control. She declines his help, and he gets upset and calls her a vulgar word. Will they be able to settle their differences and finish the mission?

In episode 14, Helen meets Jonas’s friends and lets them know she was the reason why he was late. As she’s handed a ski mask, she starts to doubt the mission. After finding out their target is a lab, she fears they’re trying to steal a weapon. All her worries get addressed once Lisa explains the plan to the team. What exactly are they doing at the lab?

Episode 13 cuts back to the night of the party. Helen and Jonas sped off in his dad’s car to meet up with his friends. There’s a short walk to the meetup spot after they get out, and Helen injures her wrist while climbing over a wall. Jonas has a meltdown due to the guilt and admits to Helen that he wasn’t the one who gave her the mask. She forgives him for the fib, and they finally meet up with his friends.

In episode 12, Helen learns how Jonas knew about the package she received. He invites her to meet some of his friends. They leave the party to go to his car as the scene cuts back to Helen in the hospital. She asks Eric what happened to her, and he tells her he’s not sure. While trying to figure out what happened, she freaks out about the hospital bill. Eric lets her know it was covered, and she breaks into tears of gratitude. He and Luca stay with her until she cries herself to sleep.
