The weeb community has grown a lot from just anime and manga, nowadays there are webtoons (i.e. manhwa and manhua) and Webcomic. The number of artists that upload their comics on the web has skyrocketed during the last few years. One of the reasons for this boom was COVID, with artists stuck at home, uploading their creations on the internet was all that many could do. And the number of readers has risen as well.
